A: Probability or chances of data recovery is reduced to great extent if the damaged device is mishandled or any attempt made personally to retrieve the data. A: It is VERY IMPORTANT. You do not create, modify, or edit data on the drive that your lost data resides on. This includes, but is not limited to, installing new software to the drive, running software on the drive (including your operating system), or creating new files. This file activity may cause partial or even permanent loss of your deleted data.

A: I think that losing photos from digital camera is a common problem for most people. The data lost due to various reasons such as: Press delete or format button on digital camera by mistake. Switching off the camera during the write or read process. Unplugging the memory cards when the write or read process is not over. Taking photos or videos when the camera is lack of power. Memory card is attacked by virus.

Q08: What are the recovered .$EFS files?

A: These files are packed raw encrypted files that will be imported into a new NTFS file during saving. If the importing was successful, these files will be deleted automatically. You may save your files to a NTFS volume if the file could not be imported (because it was not saved to a NTFS volume).
